    Overview

Bring math and applied statistics to life while studying one of the most lucrative career paths – luxury real estate and investment. Wendy Fox, the former Director of Marketing at Platinum Magazine, will teach students how to utilize trends, location, and investment.

There is so much more to the world of real estate than meets the eye. While real estate statistics is based on factual, concrete numbers, this field is also incredibly creative. As a real estate agent, you are selling a lifestyle. You are essentially the mediator and main resource for both the buyers and sellers in any given real estate deal. As an occupation with a commission-based salary, this profession can lead to an extremely high-paying career path. For this program, Ms. Fox will begin with the basics of how to obtain a real estate license and provide a peak into the day in the life of a real estate agent. She will cover topics such as real estate appreciation, commercial investment, and effective pricing methods. Students will learn about Comparative Market Analysis or CMA and how real estate agents utilize this to work with sellers on determining a listing price or buyers when checking a value before purchasing. Additionally, Ms. Fox will reveal what it takes to make a house sell.
