How do we prevent our most essential information from becoming public knowledge? How do government secrets stay safe? This is the work of cryptography. Without cryptography, the world would grind to a halt. Cryptographers are the critical gatekeepers of national security secrets, vital codes, and more.
John Monz, the teacher for this course, is currently a Mathematics teacher at Weston High School, one of the top public schools in the nation. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Boston College and ABD from MIT. Mr. Monz has previously taught at Dartmouth College and Brandeis University.
