Thinking of a career in Architecture or just looking for a way to combine your interests in STEM with design work? Take advantage of this amazing opportunity to learn the basics, from conception to the mechanics, with an MIT-trained and multiple award-winning architect. Students will learn the techniques involved in drafting design by hand using instrumentation before moving on to state-of-the-art computer renditions. They will complete a small project that could be added to their portfolio for architecture school admission. Students will also venture out to see Boston's amazing architectural heritage first-hand. Boston is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world and students will see the best of American design from historic buildings in Beacon Hill and Back Bay to modern skyscrapers. Boston has it all!

This one-week summer program is designed for teens interested in architecture & design.

    Feedback from Summer 2021:

I enjoyed the program very much and I thought the teachers were kind, encouraging, and provided helpful tips as to how to improve my structure. I thought the program gave me insight into the world of architecture and I loved seeing all of the different aspects of engineering that go into designing and creating a house.

The program involves spending a week designing and building our own architectural models. I liked the amount of creative freedom and the opportunity to see Boston architecture, and I enjoyed the amount of constructive feedback.

We were given a lot of hands-on equipment, and the project was also really enjoyable to create
