Passionate about social justice? Grow your advocacy skills in Dublin!
Join other students like you who want to make a difference in their community and the world! From your home base in Dublin, investigate power and privilege and delve into the experience of diverse populations in Ireland. Alongside other Global Navigators, propose a social justice project and use it as inspiration to effect change back home.
Connect with local nonprofit organizations that provide care for marginalized groups, like the unhoused, addiction sufferers, and migrants. Step aboard a replica of the Jeanie Johnston Famine Ship and learn about Irish emigrants’ journey to America. Reflect on your own cultural background, identity, and social condition in your local community.
Immerse yourself in Irish traditions, trying your hand at hurling, Gaelic football, and Irish football. Stroll Dublin's beautiful cobbled streets, cross Ha’Penny Bridge, and visit the Famine Memorial. On weekend excursions, discover the small Irish village of Howth. Your experiences in Ireland will empower you to be an agent of change on the issues that matter to you now and into the future.
