Experience a rare, hands-on look at the nervous system and brain. Join an elite group of students who will study neurological diseases and disorders that require neurological intervention.
In Neuroscience & Neurosurgery, students will perform mock surgeries involving the brain. Potential topics include neuro-imaging, head trauma diagnoses, brain tumors, intracranial diseases, and many more. High school students will also study Neuroscience, covering neurobiology, neurochemistry, and neural systems. Throughout this academic program, students will complete independent research projects that they'll present to the class in the third week of the program. This precollege program is great for gifted teens who want to pursue the brain, pre-med, or surgery in college.
