The Biotech Remote Research Summer course is an award-winning, competitive admissions program that represents a prestigious credential. Boston Leadership Institute loans students state-of-the-art lab equipment to be used at home for the course that they then ship back at the end of the program.
The course is led by Dr. Lazebnik who received her Ph.D. in Genetics from Tufts School of Medicine and conducted research at the NIH, Brandeis, and the Tufts Molecular Oncology Research Institute. If that hasn't piqued your interest, Dr. Lazebnik teaches this program from Bentley University and works diligently to create a wonderful experience for attendees.
Those who attend could work on a number of research opportunities with a few examples ranging from bacterial transformation and micro-pipetting to a simulation antibody test and Big Pharma Investing. The possibilities are exciting and well-rounded.
Regardless of the topic, students are asked to complete an individual research project on the genetic disease of their choice. Each student will present their research and attend an official ceremony on the last day of the program when they will earn a certificate from the Boston Leadership Institute.
