    Overview

Explore the intersection of law, ethics, and business in the Isenberg Business Ethics Academy at UMass Amherst. This two-week course challenges students to examine real-world corporate dilemmas, learn ethical frameworks, and apply their knowledge to a business case—developing solutions that are ethical, legal, and financially sound.

The Isenberg Business Ethics Academy at UMass Amherst invites high school students to explore what it means to make ethical decisions in the business world. Over two weeks, participants will examine the role of law and ethics in business decision-making and learn about major ethical theories and key areas of business law.

Students will analyze real corporate cases from companies such as Boeing, Amazon, and Wells Fargo to understand how ethical challenges arise and how responsible leaders can respond. Working in teams, they’ll apply their knowledge to a real-world business case, developing and presenting an ethical, legal, and financially sustainable solution to a panel of judges.
