Our residential and online pre-college programs are designed to give you a preview of the UMass student experience, including college-level academics and being part of a learning community of high school students from all across the U.S. and the world.     In this week-long immersive workshop, you will learn exactly what to expect on each section of the SAT and ACT. We will take full practice tests, score our work, and review any questions that we get wrong.

    You will learn the fifty topics covered in the Math section, the sixteen types of Writing question, the six kinds of reading questions, and the five types of science questions. In addition, we will examine the differences between the SAT and ACT to help you decide which test best fits your learning style.

    This workshop includes:

    • Full Practice Tests Group Classes One-on-one time with Brian Leaf to develop your personal testing strategies
    • Expert instructor support to build confidence
    • Students will also experience campus life while living in a residence hall and enjoy award-winning meals from UMass Dining.

    Enrollment for this immersion workshop is limited to give time for personalized attention.
