    Overview

    Are you ready to become the CEO of your money?  It is never too early to learn how to navigate your finances to meet your goals and set yourself up for lifelong success. This program will equip you with basic financial literacy and toolsets to manage your personal and business finances, including budgeting, spending and savings, credit and debt, time value of money, investing and planning, insurance, business finance, entrepreneurial finance, etc. 

    The Stony Brook University Pre-College Summer —  Money Manager Academy is designed for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in learning to manage money.  In this experiential program you will learn:

    • Budgeting, spending, and saving
    • Credit, debt, and insurance
    • Business and entrepreneurial finance
    • Financial goals and investing
    • Financial planning

    You will work with a team of professors, practitioners, and graduate/undergraduate teaching assistants from Stony Brook’s Center of Entrepreneurial Finance and the Trading and Investing Lab.

    Cost and Session Information

    Program Costs

    The cost of the one-week program is $2,200, and there is an application fee of $45.

    This fee includes the course,  learning materials, social programs, residence hall access, and all meals.

    DISCOUNT: Apply by April 1 and receive $100 off the program cost.
