At Stony Brook’s residential Pre-College Health Professions program, you will learn what it takes to be part of an interprofessional healthcare team. You will be exposed to more than a dozen different fascinating fields. Outside class, you will experience campus life and meet new like-minded people.
The Stony Brook University Pre-College Summer — Health Professions program is designed for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in exploring the many career paths available in healthcare. During this weeklong residential program, you will work with nationally known experts to explore pathways in health including:

Experiential Learning
This experiential program combines lectures with active learning. You’ll gain hands-on experience with the latest technology and participate in activities focusing on patient/client advocacy, social well-being, teamwork, communication skills, and health and wellness.
The cost of the one-week program is $2,200 and there is an application fee of $45.
This fee includes the course, learning materials, social programs, residence hall access, and all meals.
