World Scholars Academy courses are taught by world-elite instructors from top universities, hand-selected for their intellectual leadership and ability to transmit high-level insights to their students. On our programs you'll work both one-on-one with your instructor and in a select group of other academically-ambitious peers from around the world. Our summer courses introduce students to what it is like to undertake advanced study in leading disciplines, while providing the correct foundations and learning mindsets to attain the highest levels of academic and professional success.

Creative Writing Academy is available for ages 15-18 (or with instructor permision), and is delivered virtually in (i) ten live and interactive online classes, and (ii) two one-on-one personalized academic tutorials led by your instructor.

Meet Your Instructor

Jasmine Jones is a doctoral student in English at the University of Oxford and holder of the Clarendon and Bruce Mitchell Scholarship and a Masters degree in English (MPhil) from the same institution. She completed her BA in English with First Class Honours from University College London.

Jasmine is is currently a lecturer and tutor in English at the University of Oxford. She is classically trained in Medieval Latin, Old English, and Middle English, and was a recipient of the Abelian Scholar Prize (2020), the Early English Text Society Prize (2019), and the J.D. Thicke Prize for Classics (2016). Jasmine has been teaching and mentoring creative writing and English literature students at high school, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels for over 10 years.
