In this two-week program,  students will immerse themselves in the art and craft of dance creation through both technique and composition, with a focus on contemporary and street styles.
Applications for Summer 2026 open on November 15 and close on March 15.
The course invites participants to explore how movement can express ideas, tell stories, and build community.
Mornings are dedicated to technique classes designed to expand their embodied practice through physical range, musicality, and performance presence. Students will train in contemporary, modern, and street dance forms, gaining versatility and confidence while connecting technical skill to artistic intention.
Afternoons shift into composition and creative process labs, where dancers will generate movement, explore choreographic structures, and collaborate with peers to build original works. Through guided improvisation, journaling, and feedback sessions, participants will deepen their understanding of how to craft movement that communicates meaning. The program culminates in a final performance sharing, where students present short original works developed during the intensive.
