    Overview

    Spend your summer living and learning in Washington, D.C.—an epicenter for international relations at Georgetown University's Summer International Relations Academy. 

    As one of the oldest universities in the world, and long considered a hub for international dialogue, Georgetown is a venue that international leaders often choose to state their positions and calls for action. During the one-week International Relations Institute, you'll have the opportunity to engage with world-renowned faculty, gain valuable hands-on experience, and explore today's global issues and challenges at the city in the center of it all.

    As a student in the International Relations Academy, you'll spend your day immersed in a blend of classroom lectures, field trips, hands-on activities, and group discussions. Throughout the course of the week, you'll have the opportunity to explore the following subject areas:
