    In Georgetown's Forensic Science Academy, you'll gain a firsthand look at the world of forensic science from professionals in the field—including investigators, detectives, special agents, medicolegal death investigators, crime scene technicians, pathologists, and lawyers.

    Test your critical thinking skills by collecting and interpreting evidence as you explore the application of science and medicine in law enforcement. You’ll have opportunities to take advantage of the extraordinary forensic science resources of the nation’s capital while studying everything from crime scene diagramming and criminal investigative processes to video forensic analysis and the ethical dilemmas faced by today’s security professionals.

    As a student in the Forensic Science Academy, you'll spend your day immersed in a blend of classroom lectures, field trips, hands-on activities, and group discussions. Throughout the course of the week, you'll have the opportunity to explore the following subject areas:
