Sample Schedule

Sessions 1-5: Beginning Machine Learning
Begin exploring Python with iD Tech while you get ready for your Jetson Nano to arrive. Once your Nano is delivered, you'll be well-versed and ready to dive into more advanced content. From booting up the Nano and using Linux to delving into image classification projects from NVIDIA, you'll get a sense of how far you can go.

Sessions 6-10: Image Recognition and Classification
Now that you’ve established machine learning basics, you’re ready to push further. You'll explore more projects with tutorials from NVIDIA, learning about image recognition, training classification models, and detecting objects. With supporting lessons from iD Tech, you’ll get the most out of your experience and showcase your skills with an impressive final project. When that's ready, you'll send it to NVIDIA. Once it's approved, you'll get your certificate.

Earn Certification

Upon completion of this course, NVIDIA will review each student’s final project to determine eligibility for the certificate. This certificate signifies students’ hard work and skills gained and is a valuable asset that will help them stand out to colleges and future employers.

In order for your teen to run this course, they will need a Mac or Windows computer, webcam, and stable internet connection with access to Zoom video conferencing. The curriculum will be delivered through Canvas.

Is hardware included in this course?
Yes. Your teen’s tuition includes an NVIDIA Jetson Nano, a small, powerful computer that can run multiple neural networks in parallel. Note: Your teen’s NVIDIA Jetson Nano may be shipped after their course start date. Rest assured that it will not be needed until several weeks into their course.

How will my teen receive their certificate?
Upon completion of this course, NVIDIA will review each student’s final project to determine eligibility for the certificate. Your teen’s digital certificate will be emailed to you, at no additional cost, in the student name you used when registering for the course.
