    Overview

    Step into our professional broadcast studio and bring your creative vision to life through video. This one-week intensive course offers hands-on experience in video production. You’ll explore key aspects such as camera operation, composition, video editing, and production techniques in our state-of-the-art broadcast studio and computer classroom. Learn to craft captivating visual stories while collaborating in a fun, dynamic environment. 

    Course Content:

    During this weeklong residential learning experience where you will:

    • Work in a professional Broadcast Studio, operating cameras, graphic systems, production switchers, and other studio equipment.
    • Use state-of-the-art mirrorless cameras and various microphones to create compelling visual stories.
    • Master planning techniques to ensure your production captures everything needed for success.
    • Edit your video using Adobe Premiere with professional-level techniques.
    • Collaborate with peers to create something truly special.

    Life On Campus

    Outside of class, you will enjoy social activities, develop lasting friendships, and get a taste of college life on campus.

    To be accepted into this program, you must be a rising junior or senior in good academic standing. For 2025, this program is open only to US residents between the ages of 15 and 17.

    This course is offered during:

    Session 1:  July 6 - 11
    Session 3:  July 20 - 25

    Program Cost: $2,250 ($45 application fee)

    A limited number of scholarships are available to offset the program costs for students with demonstrated need. The Scholarships are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    Application Deadlines:

    Early Action*:  March 7, 2024

    Application Closes: May 30, 2024

    *Apply by the early action deadline and receive a $100 discount on the program fee.
