Summer Academy
The Summer Academy is a high school pre-college program for rising grades 9-12. The program is held as two one-week intensives in June and July. Courses are taught by Centenary University Professors. Select programs taught by industry professionals.
Summer Theatre Academy
Centenary University is home to an equity theatre in residence. Students will refine their performance skills with acting, movement, stage combat, vocal technique, makeup, and workshops with professional guest artists.
STUDENTS MAY ENROLL FOR BOTH SESSIONS.
Courses are held Monday through Friday from 9-4 pm, with orientation on Sunday for both commuters and residential students. Residential students arrive on Sunday and depart on Saturday morning. Evening activities begin after dinner at 7 pm. Commuters are welcome and encouraged to attend. Students staying for multiple weeks have the option of going home for the weekend or staying on campus and attending a student-selected field trip to an amusement or water park.
