BEWARE!!!! My daughter was going to attend a language course over the summer. Due to health reasons she was not able to attend. I have been waiting over 4 1/2 months for my refund minus the 515.00 deposit. I have several email correspondence with Spencer Mott even one that states" you will be promptly refunded. Have contacted the corporate headquarters in Massachusetts several times. Nobody from this organization ever returns my calls and when I ask for the billing department they put me on hold for at least 5 minutes and they are always in meetings. This company does not live up to agreements and always gives you the run around. Last week they told me my refund would be in my account and of course it is not!!!!!!

After my last year in high school, I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to do or in which direction I wanted to go. I had recently gained citizenship in France so decided I might as well learn the language (and the culture). After much research and comparisons between programs, I found EF and ended up landing on Nice as my destination. I spent 11 months in the intensive program in Nice and to this day, I can't stop raving about my experiences. I learned the language in the best way; living in the country surrounded by the people and the culture. Full. Immersion. And the proof is there as well! I completed the program at the C1 fluency level as well passed the DELF exam which states my proficiency in the language to the point that I can study at a university in the language without taking an entrance exam to prove my proficiency. I think it's also very important to add that the faculty was unbelievably helpful and guided me every step of the way. Every teacher, the administrators, the director. They were all there to make my stay the best it could possibly be. At this point I've moved on from France but I still think about going back and spending a little more time there just to polish my French and even going to another EF Destination and studying another language.
I promise you will not making EF your language immersion go-to program!

I recently had the opportunity to travel abroad with EF and I can honestly say it was the best decision of my life. I chose to study in Tokyo, Japan at EFs Shibuya Language Center. Leading up to my departure date, the support I received from EF was astonishing and very helpful. I never felt lost and knew I could lean on them for advice.
From interactive classes everyday, to living the culture of Japan and traveling to the many destinations EF organized and those that Japan had to offer, I absolutely knew traveling with EF was the best decision I could have made not only for my professional life, but my personal life as well. Now I just need to decide where I am traveling next! I hugely recommend traveling abroad with Education First to anyone.

    • One of my dreams was to travel to South Korea. From day one we were immersed in the Korean culture and even interviewing people on the street... in Korean! I thank EF Seoul and their wonderful staff and teachers for giving me the opportunity to experience Seoul and learn the Korean language so efficiently. I hope to return next year to continue my Korean language studies!

    • EF allowed me to experience a series of unforgettable 'firsts': flying without my parents, traveling internationally, applying for a visa, living with a family I did not know, and making international friends. Each one became more and more thrilling and exciting as I spent more and more time with EF! As a high school student, EF allowed me to feel like an adult for the first time ever! Who can call a taxi in a foreign country? Me! Who can wash and hang their laundry off a balcony? Me! Lost? Nope! I know my way around Beijing Metro!

    • The trips were incredible, ranging from the Summer Palace to the Great Wall. Even when activities weren't planned, all the students would get together and go somewhere fun.

    • It was an amazing nine months abroad. I had the opportunity to travel around Spain as well as Europe, and meet the best friends of my life. I'm now fluent in Spanish, and I'm returning home so much more knowledgeable about the world.
