    Overview

Vanderbilt Summer Academy (VSA) is a precollege program for high-achieving students to experience university-level learning in a supportive, community-driven environment.

Hosted by Vanderbilt University’s Programs for Talented Youth, you’ll be challenged to go deeper in subjects you're passionate about, while connecting with peers from all over the world. Offering one-week summer courses, you'll take a fast-paced, intensive course spending up to six hours a day immersed in one subject, giving you the chance to explore it in detail with content experts from Vanderbilt and the Nashville area.

But it’s not all about hitting the books. While living at The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons, the first-year residential college on Vanderbilt’s beautiful Nashville campus, you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to unwind, make new friends and take part in social activities. VSA is designed to stretch your intellectual boundaries while providing a chance to experience college life at one of the nation's leading universities.
