    Overview

    The Research Experience for High School Students (REHSS) Program for rising seniors is an intensive, 6-week scientific research internship at Vanderbilt University, centering on full immersion in a Vanderbilt University research lab. Students engage in an independent research project under the mentorship of a research faculty member. Find out more!

    We invite students to apply to the Research Experience for High School Students (REHSS) program in the spring semester of their junior year. Admission decisions take into consideration high school grades, rigor of courses taken, curriculum vitae or resume, essays, and two recommendations.
