Vanderbilt Programs for Talented Youth offers advanced early scholars and precollege courses for curious and motivated students in grades K-12. With day, residential and virtual options, these programs are designed to give academically advanced students a chance to challenge themselves in exciting new ways. Students will work with top instructors from Vanderbilt University and the Nashville community and complete courses backed in the latest education research.
Vanderbilt Mentor Immersion (VMI): Team up with an expert mentor and a small group of peers to dive into a topic of interest and complete a real-world project with the support of practicing professionals in the field.
Vanderbilt Summer Academy (VSA): A one-week residental precollege program where students participate in accelerated, advanced courses, connect with peers from all over the world and get a taste of college life.
Vanderbilt Summer Institute (VSI): A two-week precollege program for high school juniors and seniors who want to take their learning to the next level with intensive academic courses and a community-focused residential program at one of the nation's leading universities.
Summer Academy at Vanderbilt for the Young (SAVY): Weeklong day programs that challenge young scholars and allow them to dig deeper into topics of interest.
