Teach Me Wall Street Virtual Online summer camp is for teens aged 13-18. Students will learn about the stock market, the role of all the related financial institutions, and how they all come together. Offering Wall Street 101; Fintech and Jobs of the New Economy; and Intensive Currency Trading Boot Camp. Take one track or all three!
Each week or track has a different focus. We offer three tracks: Track One is focus on How Does Wall Street work. Track 2 is focus on financial technology and the new jobs created as a result of the new technology. The 3rd track focuses on trading. Classes are presented live and also recorded for students who cannot attend live.
TRACK 1 - Wall Street 101

Understand how Wall Street and the stock market work and how it affects you. You'll learn about Wall Street's role in New York and US History. There will be fun Wall Street related activities each day. Orientation will allow you to get to know each other.
Focus on Trading Understanding the stock market. Things you can trade such as stocks bonds, mutual funds and commodities.
ETHICS AND COMPLIANCE - Who and what are the other Wall Strreet players such as the Federal Reserve, regulators and more
BOOM and BUSTS on Wall Street. What causes crashes and profits that makes the stock go up and down. We will compare historic events on Wall Street to how the market reacted to current events.
ASK ME ANYTHING - Overview of what is it like to work on Wall Street, building your connections, planning your future, education, AND your questions answered.
TRACK 2 - Fintech and Jobs of the New Economy

What is Fintech, financial technology? Why should we care? There are new jobs being developed in areas not yet even imaginined. How can we prepare and not get left beind?
You want to be a Youtuber? The way people consume information and old marketing strategies no longer work. Companies with money need to reach new clients and looking for innovators like you. We will discuss what companies are looking for and how you can prepare.
FOCUS ON SOCIAL MEDIA In the new economy the gig worker is a hard reality. While large companies have full time staff, they will always need independent contractors and cross platform social media expertise is a skill you need to have.
REMOTE WORKING People have worked remotely for years, but Covid 19 really "brought it home". This is affecting the global work environment and many companies are expanding remote working. Technology supporting remote working is in overdrive. We will also cover self-management strategies as remote working can be very isolating and extend the workday into the evening.

Hi, I'm Annaline Dinkelmann
I worked in IT and spent 10 years on Wall Street working with the Investment Banking and Compliance Departments.I left Wall Street and spent 2 years as a full time day trader.
I started teaching educational workshops and have spoken at many New Jersey Educational Association (NJEA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) conferences, as well as hosted many educational workshops. I was also featured by CNN International in 2015.
I can successfully translate the world of finance to the layman and break it down for students.
