The Boston College Experience provides motivated high school students the opportunity to live and learn as students at Boston College. Through adherence to our Jesuit mission, our programs focus on exposing students to a rich and rewarding college experience through coursework, extracurricular activities, and reflection. Built into the programs are activities that help to prepare students for their college search and the transition into college life.
The Boston College Experience consists of two programs: BCE Non-Credit Program and the BCE Honors Program.
The BCE Non-Credit Program is an academically intensive program open to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors and covers areas such as business and leadership, economics, history, government, history, philosophy, forensics, design thinking, and college and creative writing. There are select courses offered fully online asynchronously with no on-campus component as well.
The BCE Honors Program offers academically qualified rising high school seniors the opportunity to enroll in a non-degree program taking up to two credit-bearing undergraduate courses during the summer. Courses are delivered online as part of the Boston College’s Summer Session Term.
