Discover what it’s really like to be a doctor with Study Mind’s Medicine Summer Career Camp in Central London. This isn’t about sitting in lectures; it’s about rolling up your sleeves and experiencing medicine first-hand.

You’ll explore the world of healthcare through practical, hands-on sessions that could include learning clinical skills, trying out emergency response scenarios, exploring medical technology and seeing how doctors work together to diagnose and treat patients. Every day gives you the chance to experience a different side of medicine, from surgery and A&E to general practice and medical research.

Throughout the week, you’ll be guided by mentors from top UK universities like Oxford, Cambridge, UCL and Imperial College London. They’ll share their experiences of studying medicine, offer insider tips on applications and help you see where your passion for science and helping others could take you.

You’ll stay at UCL’s Ramsay Hall, right in the heart of London, and experience what living on campus at a leading university is like. With 24/7 safeguarding and security and your own private room, it’s the perfect mix of independence and support.

Evenings are packed with fun, including bowling, theatre nights and dinners out, while weekends are for exploring iconic London landmarks like Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and the London Eye.

General Information
All of our programmes begin on a Monday and run for two weeks. Students staying in our accommodation will check in on Sunday, the day before their programme starts. We advise all students to check into accommodation between 3 pm and 6 pm to take advantage of dinner with their cohort and the evening activity.
