    Overview

Unlock your future in law with Study Mind’s Law Summer Career Camp. Step into real courtrooms, meet BBC guest Lawrence Power at Whitestone Chambers, visit top solicitors, and witness live trials at the Old Bailey. Experience the thrill of advocacy, justice, and life as a lawyer in the heart of London.

Step into the world of law and see what life as a solicitor or barrister is really like with Study Mind’s Law Summer Career Camp in Central London. This isn’t just about learning the theory; it’s about walking into real courtrooms, meeting practising lawyers and discovering what a legal career truly involves.

Your week begins with an introduction to UK Law, where you’ll meet an experienced corporate lawyer who will give you a real insight into commercial law, contracts and how businesses navigate the legal world.

You’ll then visit Whitestone Chambers, meeting its owner and frequent BBC guest Lawrence Power, to gain a unique perspective on life at the Bar. You’ll also spend time at a high-street solicitors’ office, meeting the legal team and exploring areas such as family law, traffic law and real-estate law to understand the breadth of legal practice in the UK.

At the Royal Courts of Justice, you’ll take part in a workshop led by court staff inside one of their real courtrooms, and even get the chance to sit in on a live hearing at the Old Bailey, one of London’s most famous criminal courts.

Guided by mentors from top UK universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, UCL and LSE, you’ll gain valuable advice on studying law and preparing for a legal career, while building confidence in public speaking, reasoning and argument.

You’ll stay at UCL’s Ramsay Hall, right in the heart of London, with 24/7 safeguarding and security and your own private room, giving you a taste of university life. Evenings include fun social activities like theatre trips, bowling and dinners out, and weekends are dedicated to exploring London’s must-see landmarks, from Buckingham Palace to the Tower of London.

The Study Mind Law Summer Career Camp is your chance to experience the law in action, connect with legal professionals and discover where your passion for justice could take you.
