    Overview

Do you have a story to tell? Do you love listening to podcasts? At Podcasting Summer Camp, you’ll learn how to turn creative ideas into captivating audio stories. From narrative and interview-based podcasts to investigative, community, or sports reporting, you’ll explore how creators use sound to connect with listeners and express their unique voices. Throughout the week on campus, you’ll gain hands-on experience producing sound-rich audio content and create your own podcast.

Podcasting Summer Camp is open to any student between the ages of 14-18 as of July 1 of the camp year. This camp is perfect for students interested in school newspaper, television broadcasts, yearbook, writing, filming, and theater. Campers will stay in dorms on the University Park campus, enjoy meals in campus dining halls, and work on creative projects taught by Penn State faculty members in our state-of-the-art media center.

For more information about our camps and to access the application, students can visit our summer camp website.
