New York Film Academy: 3D Animation Summer Camps

The 3D animation camps and workshops at NYFA provide students aged 14-17 with an opportunity to learn the essentials of 3D animation. Throughout these programs, students study the basic skills of animation, including drawing, painting, storyboarding, and sculpting, learning under the guidance of NYFA’s faculty of professional animators and visual effects artists.

The 3-Week Animation Program is an intensive, hands-on course designed to immerse students in the fundamentals of 3D animation, from the creation of assets to the final animated sequence. Through a blend of structured lessons, practical exercises, and project-based learning, students will explore the core elements of animation and gain a comprehensive understanding of the processes that bring animated stories to life. This program covers key animation techniques and provides students with the tools needed to create engaging, visually stunning animated films.
