Develop a talent or advance your studies while experiencing life in a university setting. Parsons offers summer courses for students in grades 3 through 12 that allow them the same access to world-class Parsons faculty as undergraduate art and design students.
Summer Intensive Studies: New York
Our three-credit art and design program immerses rising juniors and seniors, as well as recent high school graduates, in a New York college environment. All studio courses are geared toward developing and enhancing college application portfolios.
 
Summer Intensive Studies: Parsons Paris
Parsons Paris is the ideal setting for heightening your awareness of global culture and creative careers. In this three-week, three-credit program, a close-knit community of learners experience European design practice and history firsthand.
 
Parsons Summer Academy
Designed for students in grades 3 through 12, Parsons' Pre-College Academy meets for two consecutive weeks in August. Classes are organized by grade level for elementary, middle, and high school groups.

Registration
All interested students must submit an application and pay a $50 non-refundable application fee. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The summer program team will share application statuses within 7-10 business days of submission. Once approved, applicants will be invited to enroll in a course.
Tuition for Summer Intensives: $5,610 plus $265 university fee; $50 Application fee.

Class Schedule: Students attend classes Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 3:50pm with a one hour lunch break. 
Location: Parsons' Greenwich Village campus
Housing: This summer program offers the option of on-campus housing. Following confirmation of your registration, an additional letter is sent by email with instructions on how to apply for housing. Access to on-campus student housing is in high demand and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you require on-campus housing, we strongly recommend applying as soon as the application process opens. 
Summer Intensive Studies: Parsons Paris
Tuition and Fees: Starting from $9,999 (includes tuition, housing, and excursions)
Schedule: June 27 – July 18, 2026
Classes are held at Parsons Paris, located at 45 rue Saint-Roch in the first arrondissement, a short walk from the Louvre and Opéra Garnier. Many classes meet in locations throughout the city, ranging from art and design exhibition settings to architectural landmarks and parks. Coursework is complemented by excursions and day trips.

Parsons Paris partners with Academic Programs International (API), our preferred partner specializing in study abroad, to enroll you and provide on-site support services. 
The program is open to high school students entering their junior or senior year and to recent high school graduates. High school students are introduced to the college art and design experience through an immersive course of study. Applicants must be 16 to 18 years of age. Exceptions cannot be made.
Note: All Summer Intensive Studies courses may be taken in order to develop a portfolio for the college admission process.
Courses last six weeks. Most students take two courses per semester. The program must be completed in two years, but many students finish in two semesters. 
All Paris Summer Intensive Studies students earn three college credits upon successful completion of the course.
Parsons Summer Academy
You may register for one course from our website. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are accepted in the order in which they are received. Early application is strongly encouraged. Students will be charged a non-refundable university fee.
Tuition: Grades 3-8: $860 plus fees
Grades 9-12: $1,720 plus fees

Housing: This summer program does not offer the option of on-campus housing.
