Wake Forest University’s (WFU) Online Immersion Program offers flexible online courses spanning the fields of Medicine, Business, Bioscience, Psychology, and more for high school students. You’ll hear from WFU professors, have access to a mentor, and earn a Certificate of Completion.

The courses are 100% online and almost entirely asynchronous, meaning that you can complete your course whenever it works with your schedule. There will be 30 hours of overall course time over 2 or 4 weeks, depending on the session you choose, including video lessons, unit assignments, and access to your mentor.

Bioscience

We’ll take a deep dive into the causes and treatments of conditions such as Covid-19, tuberculosis, HIV and more. Business

Ever wonder what makes companies like Apple or Netflix successful? Business: Strategy & Innovation will show you how today’s most competitive companies operate: how they create their brands and products; how they innovate, find people, and manage budgets; and what investors examine to make investment decisions. If you’re thinking about studying business, economics, banking, technology, product design, management, or marketing in college, this course offers an exciting way to prepare.

Cancer Medicine

In Cancer: An Inside Look at Caring, Curing and Treating, you’ll accompany a patient on their cancer journey. You’ll see what it’s like to be diagnosed, to receive treatment, and how people cope with its spread. In Investing: The Future of Finance, we’ll delve into the ways financial markets work today. Law
