For over 30 years, the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) has invited a select group of outstanding high school students to participate in its fast-paced, high-level, interactive pre-college summer sessions. Choose from more than 30 special-interest programs hosted on college campuses.
The National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) provides high-achieving high school students with the opportunity to explore a future career while living and learning on a college campus.
NSLC programs are highly experiential, including hands-on simulations and workshops designed to give students a day-in-the-life perspective on their chosen career field. Exclusive site visits and meetings with professionals in the field provide real world insight on a possible career path.
In addition to career exploration, NSLC students develop essential leadership skills lke conflict resolution, negotiation and group dynamics during interactive workshops with nationally-renowned leadership facilitators.
Students live on a college campus, meeting and interacting with their peers from across the United States and more than 70 countries, providing a unique experience to gain collegiate experience before college. Social activities and sightseeing experiences cap off the exciting NSLC program.
Cost and Session Information
NSLC programs take place on University campuses and all students are required to live on-campus throughout the program. Program tuition covers course materials, program activities, housing on the University campus, on-campus meals, social events and transportation in air conditioned motor coaches throughout the program. Each student is responsible for the cost of travel to and from the program as well as individual spending money for souvenirs and a few off-campus meals.
