National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) | Middle School Engineering Program

Discover the world of engineering at the NSLC on Engineering for middle school students taking place on the American University campus in Washington, DC, or the University of California campus in Berkeley, CA. With a focus on aerospace, biotechnology, and robotics, students will spend time building, experimenting, and learning the impact science has on society. 

Hands?on activities are designed to help future engineers explore the educational paths open to them in high school, college, and beyond.

American University trips may include:

• NASA Goddard Flight Center
• National Building Museum
• Air & Space Museum
• Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center
• Capitol Hill & Monuments tour

University of California, Berkeley trips may include:

• The Exploratorium
• Hiller Aviation Museum
• Pier 39
• Lawrence Hall of Science

Tuition covers housing (if applicable), on-campus meals, course materials, academic expenses, trips, tours, activities, and off-campus event transportation.

Commuter tuition includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day; however, it does not include housing accommodations.
