    Overview

    The mission of Piers Park Sailing Center is to use Boston Harbor and the seas beyond to provide year-round recreational, educational, and personal growth opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.

    The Teen Training Program (TTP) at Piers Park Sailing Center is a Blue/Green Jobs Program for teens. It is a training, mentoring, and employment program that prepares teens for full time summer work and part time after school work at Piers Park.

    The Teen Training Program provides all the skills necessary for teens to sail independently and to coach and mentor others on the dock and on the water. It also provides mentoring support and professional development opportunities for teens and helps prepare them for a successful transition to adulthood. 

    Skills learned in the program include:
