Located on Cape Cod surrounded by beautiful Spectacle Pond, Camp Hayward has been an overnight camp of the South Shore Y since 1960. Offering one and two-week sessions for girls ages 7 to 16, located across the pond from Camp Burgess, our brother-sister structure allows campers to benefit from an all-girl environment while also experiencing safe and positive opportunities for co-ed social interaction.
Camp Hayward is a place for girls to gain independence, build community and foster friendships. By learning new skills, Hayward campers will develop self confidence and self respect, based on an appreciation of their own worth as individuals. Campers experience independence and problem solving skills as they learn to live and explore their interests with seven other cabin mates!
