Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) is an academic enrichment program for outstanding high school students from around the world. Each summer, students from over 150 countries (including all 50 U.S. states) participate in one interdisciplinary, two-week session at Yale’s historic campus. Application Fees:
- $80 USD Early Action fee
- $95 USD Regular Decision fee
All YYGS application fees are non-refundable.
Full tuition payment is due on December 17, 2025 for Early Action admits, and March 15, 2026 for Regular Decision admits.
Financial Aid & Scholarships:
YYGS provides over $3 Million USD in need-based financial aid to domestic and international students that covers partial- or full-tuition discounts (up to 100% of tuition), as well as scholarships that cover travel assistance.
If the application fee poses a financial burden, students can submit a fee waiver to reduce their application fee to $0 USD.
