    Overview

The Engineering Summer Program (ESP) is a free, 3-week residential program for rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in engineering. Participants will experience living on UW-Madison’s campus while getting a sense of what it means to be a Badger Engineer. Beyond the core curriculum of math, physics, chemistry and engineering design, students will participate in hands-on workshops, visit industry sites, go on field trips, and receive mentoring from faculty.

ESP is a dynamic academic enrichment summer program designed to broaden participation in engineering, and introduce engineering concepts to the next generation of future engineers.

The ESP program is a highly selective program and acceptance is not made on any single metric – applicants are reviewed holistically.
