    Overview

The UT Summer Music Camps offer a comprehensive music camp for piano, choir, and orchestral students entering grades 7-12 in the Fall. University faculty lead these week-long opportunities and engage with students to develop their musical skills.

Piano Camp is an intensive music workshop for piano students currently in grades 6-12, with at least one year of experience playing piano. Daily schedule includes piano lessons, practice time, master classes, and a lecture series including music history, piano literature, piano technique, pedagogy, and more.

Instrumental Music Camp is for orchestral string students currently in grades 7-12, and woodwind/brass/percussion students currently in grades 9-12. Daily schedule includes orchestra rehearsals, master classes, chamber music, stretching/injury prevention, and electives (music technology, composition, conducting, etc).

Choir Camp is an intensive music camp for all chorus students currently in grades 6-12, and includes high school and middle school choir experiences, choral and Broadway repertoire, movement, and electives such as class piano, music theory, and guitar.
