    Overview

    Join ST.ART Artist Programs for a ridiculously engaging summer of art + design at St. Edward's University in vibrant Austin, Texas! Our one-week and two-week day and residential programs are designed to have creative teens in middle and high school experimenting with their arts practice and building their portfolios. Scholarships and payment plans are available!

     

    ST.ART Intensive: 

    • Rising Grades 11 and 12
    • Residential and day options
    • College prep sessions with guest artist talks, portfolio prep, and more
    • Choice of media-specific concentration (Animation & Digital Media, Ceramics & Sculpture, Drawing & Painting, Printmaking & Design) and foundations course
    • End-of-program art exhibition for family and friends at St. Edward's Fine Arts Center
    • Museum visits and Austin excursions

    • Choice of 2 media-specific studio sessions (Animation & Digital Media, Ceramics & Hand Built Sculpture, Comics & Character Design, Eco Art, Figure Drawing, Mixed Media Painting, Relief Printmaking, Still Life Drawing & Painting)
    • Museum visits and Austin excursions 

    Studio Camp: 

    • Rising Grades 6-8
    • Day only, must provide lunch
    • Extended care hours with guided sketching sessions
    • 2 daily studio sessions will explore 2D and 3D artmaking processes

    Tuition & Program Fees

    ST.ART Intensive: 

    • Tuition: $3150
      Includes over 55 hours of instruction, some supplies, daily lunch, museum trips, and a ST.ART t-shirt.
    • Residential Fee (Optional): $1500
      Includes shared campus housing, meals, and out-of-class activities 
    • Program Deposit: $300
      Non-refundable program deposit required to secure a place in the program and the choice of concentration. Deposit deducted from tuition and not an additional fee.

    Zip ST.ART: 

    • Program Fee: $1625
      Includes over 30 hours of instruction, some supplies, housing and meals (from Sunday at 2 pm – Saturday at 10 am), and a ST.ART t-shirt.
    • Program Deposit: $300
      Non-refundable program deposit is required to secure a place in the program and the choice of concentration. Deposit deducted from tuition and not an additional fee.

    Studio Camp: 

    • Program Fee: $600
      Includes 16 hours of instruction, all supplies, and a ST.ART t-shirt.
    • Sketching Sessions: $75-$120
      Optional early drop-off and late pick-up sessions.
      • Morning (Early Drop-Off): Includes 4-1 hour of guided sketching sessions from 8:30-9:45am.
      • Afternoon (Late Pick-Up): Includes 4-1 hour of guided sketching sessions from 4:15-5:30pm.

    Financial Aid

    ST.ART Challenge Scholarship Contest

    • Win a scholarship to attend the Intensive or Zip!
    • Entry is free. Enter during the registration process.
    • Three winners will be selected by a blind judging process.
    • Enter by creating an artwork in your choice of media responding to the prompt: Summer

    Need-Based Scholarships

    • Limited full and partial scholarships are available for eligible students demonstrating financial need.
    • Free to apply. Apply during the registration process.
    • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis after the priority deadline. 
    • We will continue to review for need-based scholarships after the priority deadline on a rolling basis until May 15.
