My name is Lisa, and my writing name is L.B. Schulman. I am an award-winning author and six-time judge of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, both at the regional and national level. I have taught creative writing classes and private tutoring for the past five years. This is the third year I have run this program for teens who want to present their best entry for this prestigious writing competition. We meet for 20 hours, spread out over a month, to give students time to prep their strongest fiction ideas in class and develop writing skills, write a draft on their own time, and polish it together. Every entry gets professional and extensive comments from the teacher. This online course provides Zoom links for each class!
