    Overview

The Oxford Summer Seminar by Oxbridge Academic Programs immerses students in grades 10 through 12 in subjects like writing and medicine while preparing them for college applications. Students enroll for one or two weeks, visit historic British sites and learn at one of the world’s top universities.

High school students participating in the one- or two-week Oxford Summer Seminar choose among 12 academic and creative subjects to study at Corpus Christi College, a centuries-old college of Oxford University. An offering of Oxbridge Academic Programs, the seminar is welcome to students in grades 10, 11, and 12 and takes place during the summer in historic Oxford, England.

Students select one or two subjects to focus on during their session. Their options include business, critical thinking, law and medicine. Celebrated faculty, some of whom are Fulbright and Rhodes scholars, guide students in their coursework. Challenging class materials are supplemented with experiential learning through activities, presentations, and interactive projects.

Dorm-style housing is available at Corpus Christi College in single or double rooms with shared facilities. Rooms with private bathrooms are available in a limited fashion and for an extra cost. Extracurricular activities center around exploring Oxford and creating lasting social connections. Daily events and sports available to students include punting, soccer, tennis, quidditch, cricket, running, chess tournaments, and quiz nights. There is also free time set aside for sightseeing and socializing.

Oxbridge began offering academic trips more than 35 years ago and has grown from serving 36 students to nearly 2,000 each summer.
