    Overview

OWL Camp is a residential and day summer camp program of challenge and enrichment for central Ohio’s gifted and talented middle school students currently (at time of application) in grades 6-8. OWL is designed to meet the intellectual, social, and emotional needs of gifted and talented middle school students in Ohio. It offers a place for students to learn new ideas, be challenged, and interact with others who have similar abilities.

Campers can choose classes from classes in humanities, creative arts, mathematics, science, logic, and computers. Cultural, recreational and social activities round out the experience and include the annual OWL Camp Review, the Historic Strand Theatre Movie Night, the OWL dance, swimming, campus tours, crafts, and games. Attendees reside in Hayes Hall on the Ohio Wesleyan University campus, where they live in a family group atmosphere with an adult OWL counselor.
