National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) | Animation

At the NSLC on Animation, you’ll explore core concepts of design through workshops on character development, motion, timing, and syncing, practicing computer-based design and tablet drawing techniques that will bring your art to life. Explore through hands-on learning to develop the skills and knowledge you need for a future career in animation.

At the NSLC on Animation you will live and learn on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles. You will work in Unity and JavaScript exploring keyframe animation, parameter manipulatio, and how to seamlessly implement 2D and 3D animations.  And you'll discover the inner workings of the field through immersive trips and tours.

NSLC programs take place on University campuses and all students are required to live on-campus throughout the program. Program tuition covers course materials, program activities, housing on the University campus, on-campus meals, social events and transportation in air conditioned motor coaches throughout the program. Each student is responsible for the cost of travel to and from the program as well as individual spending money for souvenirs and a few off-campus meals.
