Joffrey Ballet School: Joffrey Colorado Summer Intensive Recently Updated

Joffrey Colorado is an intimate program dedicated to an immersive study of ballet. Students work with a small group of acclaimed faculty under the artistic direction of Colleen Barnes. Students participate in two ballet technique classes each day, refining their work in Ballet, Pointe, and Variations. Dancers are supported in their ballet technique with daily classes in the jazz and contemporary mediums, as well as a conditioning class at the beginning or end of their day.

Coached by Colleen Barnes, a professional dancer, this program will invest in individual dancers and help them improve their dance skills. There will be multiple ballet classes as well as classes focusing on the Dunham technique, a style of modern dance with a similar technique as ballet. Open to dancers ages 8-18, this program offers professional coaching and an innovative teaching technique. Students can expect to work on pointe, conditioning, yoga, jazz, improvisation, and much more!
