Camp Ramah New England: Overnight Summer Camp

Camp Ramah New England is an overnight Jewish summer camp located in Palmer, Massachusetts for kids and teens. Our co-ed summer camp strives to create an inspiring Jewish environment. Innovative programming, exciting opportunities, and life-changing relationships are hallmarks of our program. Young people have fun while developing skills, incredible friendships and a Jewish consciousness that lasts a lifetime.

Camp Ramah has a wealth of chugim (specialty activities) that provide campers with an opportunity to develop skills and experience activities they've never before attempted. At Ramah, we are extraordinarily proud not only of the variety of activities offered but also of the high level of expertise of our instructors.

Every two weeks, campers are given the opportunity to develop their skills in the chug (activity) of their choice. These include:

• Video/Animation
• Cooking
• Archery
• Ropes/Adventure Course
• Boating
• Drama
• Nature/Scouting Skills
• Woodworking
• Arts and Crafts

Ramah’s athletic program reflects its strong commitment to sports and the outdoors.  Every day, our campers have multiple opportunities to choose sports like baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee. Our athletic/outdoors staff totals over twenty-five full-time instructors. They teach the campers skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of the game.
