    Overview

Alonim offers campers the vibrancy of Jewish life every day through music, Israeli dance, sports, arts and crafts, nature, and social action. Campers experience new things, build skills, make lasting friendships, explore, and have pure fun. Our immersive program develops a pride in being Jewish and the opportunity to design their own experience through a choice of fun activities.

Our immersive camp experience is unique because it heavily influences camper choice in its design. In addition to daily Jewish values experiential education, campers choose 2-3 of their activity hours per day. Campers also have a “free” hour to choose from a menu of open activities, such as pool, ropes, horses, etc.

Campers engage in six activities daily. Four are pre-scheduled activities with their bunks and divisions. In addition to pre-scheduled activities, two of the activities are chuggim (specialty electives) chosen by campers on their first day of camp. Our oldest campers choose a third elective area called a Specialty Focus. The Specialty Focus program is designed to allow campers to deep dive into an art project, writing a song, choreographing a dance, horseback riding, and many more activities over the course of their entire camp session.

We also offer a Teen Leadership program for teens going into grades 10-12.
