Brevard Music Center: Summer Institute & Festival Recently Updated

Brevard Music Center stands as one of America's premier summer training programs for musicians ages 14-29. Students participate in orchestral studies, piano, composition, jazz, classical guitar, voice, and more alongside world-renowned guest artists and faculty. All programs are residential, and take place on our 180-acre, wooded campus in Western North Carolina.

Each summer, over 600 elite students participate in a rigorous program of instruction and performance. They work with our artist faculty, over 80 teachers and performers from the most prestigious orchestras, conservatories, and music schools. Brevard’s hallmark is orchestral training, with three orchestras and wind ensemble.  In all, students, faculty, and visiting artists will present nearly 100 public concerts each summer. In addition to daily rehearsals, students receive private lessons, and may participate in recitals, chamber music and masterclasses.
