AMAZING experience for our 15 year old daughter. She came out of 10 months of therapeutic boarding school and Angie and team went over and above to work with her during through the trip. Ava is not an outdoors person but the team encouraged and helped her through it and now she looks back and is so grateful for the trip.

Breakwater Expeditions was such an amazing experience not just the group dynamics but how much I gained from the trip as a whole. I didn't realize how much I needed this experience and how much it helped me transition into college life! I was reminded of why I love nature. I also rediscovered pure happiness and figuring out what I define as 'home' after this past year defining it as being a final destination/goal. I have so much appreciation for Breakwater and will never forget all the memories I made this summer.

Experienced and gifted wilderness guides facilitating powerful healing and growth adventures for youth and adults. These folks are pros that prioritize safety and wellness of participants, with playfulness and attunement...not to mention delicious, nutritious meals. I highly recommend Breakwater Expeditions for groups, families and individuals called to positive change through the force of nature.

My teen son went with Breakwater this summer to Utah. It was a very rewarding experience for him. The guides were highly competent, kind and fun. He not only made friends and took a break from technology but returned with new self confidence. We will definitely return to Breakwater in the future.
