- What it’s like to work on Wall Street
- Who are the players such as investment banks and the Federal Reserve
- Develop skills to read stock chartsIdentify companies that may be good to invest in
- The process of going public (IPO)
Part 2 Advanced Investing & Trading
- Get do technical Analysis - when to buy and sell stocks
- Place trades in a live simulated trading in an account you get to keep
- Develop risk management strategiesUnderstand basic Fundamental Analysis (learn to pick good stocks)
- Explore what moves the market up and down
- Build your tracking spreadsheet
- Custodial accounts information for both students and parents
Part 3- Budgeting & Beyond
- Design and manage a budget based on real life scenarios
- Explore career choices and related income levels to determine budgets, spending and lifestyle choices
- Learn about taxes, insurance and paycheck deductions
- Discover ways to identify and avoid hazardous financial traps, scams, and schemes

I thought I knew a lot about investing but I never knew there was so much more to learn. This class has really helped me a lot--not only learn how to invest, but also the history and everything that goes on on Wall Street. She taught the class in a very engaging manner. I liked how there were games incorporated into the classes so we can learn in a more fun manner. I also learned what I might have to do to get a job on Wall Street, both the classes an internships. I would recommend the class to anyone who is interested in investing.
