    Overview

CollegeAdvisor is turning college dreams into reality! With a team of 300+ former admissions officers and admissions experts from elite universities, CollegeAdvisor helps students with every step of the admissions process: essays, scholarship applications, interviews, and more. The results speak for themselves: 8,000+ families guided through the competitive application process and a rating of 4.8/5 on Trustpilot.

    How CollegeAdvisor works

Each student works with CollegeAdvisor's Admissions Experts to create a personalized application strategy dedicated to their individual strengths. Through one-on-one video sessions, students and families can get answers to their questions about the toughest parts of the admissions process: How can my student stand out in their applications? What financial aid options and scholarships are available to my student? What is the difference between a "reach," "target," and "safety" school?

Through personalized feedback on essays, extracurricular activities, academics, and more, the Admissions Experts at CollegeAdvisor help each student build a strong application for their top schools. Former CA clients have been admitted into every single top-100 school in the U.S.

    What CollegeAdvisor offers

In addition to one-on-one video chat advising and access to an Admissions Experts network, students and their families can also attend monthly webinars and workshops hosted by CollegeAdvisor.com. Each webinar series focuses on a specific topic related to the admissions cycle and presenters include recent graduates, current students, former admissions officers, and other experts. In these sessions, students can learn more about virtual volunteering, merit-based scholarships, letters of recommendation, and the college majors that interest them.

CollegeAdvisor.com also features in-depth financial aid guides, supplemental essay guides, sample college essays, and a blog with hundreds of posts for students in grades 9-12. Standout pieces include: “The Anatomy and Physiology of the Pre-Med Student’s College Application Process,” “How to Write a College Resume,” and “Finding a Topic for Your College Essay: Reflection Exercises to Try.”

    How CollegeAdvisor gives back

Applying to college is hard, and no student should have to do it alone. CollegeAdvisor.com is proud to offer free admissions support to students with demonstrated financial need through the Scholars Program.

CollegeAdvisor.com created the Scholars Program to provide free resources to applicants, many of which are first-generation, who could not otherwise access admissions support. Each year, CA builds a geographically and ethnically diverse cohort of students from historically underrepresented groups. With help from dedicated Admissions Experts, these students build strong college applications for their top-choice schools, gaining the tools to help them succeed in post-secondary education and beyond.
