A 10-week supported gap year in Queenstown, New Zealand, blending epic adventure, cultural immersion, volunteering, and a hands-on sheep farm internship with life skills and wellness coaching. Live with peers in a gorgeous home, explore the South Island, and get wrap-around support from a live-in wellness director while staying connected to your home therapist. Build confidence, independence, and unforgettable memories.
Participants live in the adventure capital of the world—Queenstown, New Zealand—surrounded by stunning mountains, lakes, and endless opportunities for exploration. Guided by a live-in, 24/7 therapeutic coach, students engage in intentional personal development and ongoing coordination with their home therapist. Each week blends life skills training, cultural immersion, wellness workshops, community volunteering, and an entrepreneurship-focused sheep farm internship, where they learn animal care, and how to start and a business of their own. Students master independent living skills—cooking, budgeting, cleaning, and maintaining a home—while intentionally planning their futures through college and career guidance. Two days a week are devoted to epic adventures like rafting, hiking, rappelling waterfalls, kayaking, and exploring glow worm caves and glaciers, fostering confidence, resilience, and lifelong friendships.
