    Overview

    American University of Paris (AUP), located in Paris, France, is a wildly successful experiment in international, interdisciplinary education. Since AUP's founding in 1962, the university has provided a multilingual, multicultural learning environment.

AUP offers undergraduate majors in Art History, Comparative Literature, Computer Science, Economics, Entrepreneurship, European and Mediterranean Cultures, Film Studies, Fine Arts, Gender, Sexuality, and Society, Global Communications, History, Law and Society, International Business Administration, International and Comparative Politics, International Finance, Journalism, Literary Studies and the Creative Arts, Management, Management Information Systems, Marekting, Middle East Pluralities, Philosophy, Politics and Economics, Psychology, Quantitative Environmental Science, Urban Studies, and a Self-Designed Major.

    The Graduate School of Global Studies at AUP is an international platform for students to gain intellectual and professional skills, enabling them to open new professional opportunities; to advance to a higher degree; to discover a vocation; or to change fields and enable a career transition. Students develop pluralist and progressive perspectives on contemporary global problems from climate change to conflict resolution, and much more. Students may choose from 15 Master of Arts degrees in 6 core fields, including Cross-Cultural and Sustainable Business Management, Cultural Translation, Global Communications, International Affairs, Middle East and Islamic Studies, and Public Policy.

    Students may also study abroad at a partner university. AUP maintains special partnerships with top-tier universities around the world that allows students to spend a semester as a full-time student at another institution while earning credit towards their AUP degree. Current options include Eugene Lang College in New York, New York, Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, Goizueta Business School of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, New york University in Buenos Aires, Florence, London, and Shanghai, University of Cape Town in South Africa, The University of Miami in Florida, and the University of Cairo in Egypt.
